1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how information may be processed when you use the TIWI Protocol mobile application.

TIWI Protocol is a non-custodial, multi-chain decentralized finance Super App owned and governed by TIWI Ecosystem, a decentralized autonomous organization.

The TIWI Protocol mobile application is developed and published by CDS Space, a digital design and product development company based in Nigeria.

Except where specifically stated otherwise, references in this Privacy Policy to "TIWI Protocol", "we", "our", or "the Protocol" refer to TIWI Protocol and the infrastructure used to provide the mobile application.

TIWI Protocol is designed around self-custody, wallet-based access, public blockchain infrastructure, and data minimization.

The application does not require a traditional username and password account to access its core Web3 functionality.

2. Current Mobile App Features

The TIWI Protocol mobile application currently provides:

  1. Spot token swaps
  2. Cross-chain swaps
  3. Multi-chain asset interactions
  4. Staking
  5. Staking as a service
  6. Liquidity pools
  7. Liquidity provision
  8. Liquidity farming
  9. Multi-send
  10. Campaign and airdrop infrastructure
  11. Portfolio information
  12. Referral and rebate programs
  13. TIWI AI

This Privacy Policy relates to information processed in connection with these currently available mobile application features.

3. Self-Custodial Privacy Architecture

TIWI Protocol is designed as a self-custodial application.

Users connect compatible blockchain wallets to interact with the application.

TIWI Protocol does not require users to provide:

These credentials should remain under the user's control.

TIWI Protocol cannot access an external self-custodial wallet merely because that wallet is connected to the application.

Transactions are authorized by the user through the connected wallet.

4. Wallet Connection Information

When you connect a wallet to TIWI Protocol, the application may process the public information required to establish and maintain that connection.

This may include:

A public wallet address is not the same as a private key.

TIWI Protocol does not require your private key or Seed Phrase to establish a normal wallet connection.

5. Public Blockchain Information

TIWI Protocol primarily interacts with information available through public blockchain infrastructure.

This may include:

Public blockchain information exists independently of TIWI Protocol.

Once information is recorded on a public blockchain, TIWI Protocol generally cannot delete, alter, conceal, or reverse that information.

6. Transaction Information

When you initiate transactions through TIWI Protocol, information necessary to prepare, simulate, route, display, verify, or submit the transaction may be processed.

Depending on the transaction, this may include:

After execution, much of this information may become publicly available through the relevant blockchain.

7. Staking and Liquidity Information

When you use staking, staking as a service, liquidity pools, liquidity provision, or liquidity farming, TIWI Protocol may process relevant public blockchain information including:

Most of this information is derived from public blockchain infrastructure.

8. Multi-Send Information

When using multi-send, TIWI Protocol may process:

Once executed, this information may become publicly available on the relevant blockchain.

9. Campaign and Airdrop Information

When participating in supported campaigns and airdrops, TIWI Protocol may process information necessary to verify eligibility and administer rewards.

This may include:

Some campaign tasks may use APIs or other technical infrastructure to automatically verify whether a required activity has been completed.

Only information reasonably necessary for the relevant verification should be processed.

10. Referral and Rebate Information

When participating in TIWI Protocol referral or rebate programs, the application may process:

This information is used to calculate and administer qualifying rewards.

11. Portfolio Information

TIWI Protocol may read publicly available blockchain information associated with your connected wallet to create a portfolio view.

Portfolio information may include:

Portfolio information is primarily derived from public blockchain data.

12. TIWI AI Information

If you use TIWI AI, information that you intentionally submit through the AI interface may be processed to generate a response.

This may include:

Information required to generate a response may be transmitted to infrastructure supporting TIWI AI.

Never provide TIWI AI with:

TIWI AI does not require these credentials.

13. Technical Information

Some technical information may necessarily be processed when a mobile application communicates with internet infrastructure.

Depending on implementation, this may include:

For example, an IP address may be visible to RPC servers or other infrastructure when your mobile device sends a request over the internet.

Technical information may be used for:

14. Information Stored Locally

Certain information may be stored locally on your mobile device.

This may include:

Locally stored application information is generally controlled through your mobile device.

15. Mobile Device Permissions

TIWI Protocol may request permissions associated with supported functionality.

Camera

Used where you choose to scan QR codes or compatible wallet information.

Microphone

Used where you choose to access supported voice functionality.

Notifications

Used for transaction updates, reward notifications, security notices, and protocol alerts where enabled.

Biometrics

Where supported, biometric verification is handled through secure functionality provided by your mobile operating system.

TIWI Protocol does not require access to your underlying fingerprint or facial biometric template.

Clipboard

May be used when you intentionally paste supported information such as wallet addresses or contract addresses.

16. How Information Is Used

Information may be processed where necessary to:

17. Infrastructure Processing

TIWI Protocol relies on technical infrastructure required to operate a multi-chain mobile application.

Categories of infrastructure may include:

These systems may process information technically necessary to perform their function.

For example, infrastructure receiving a network request may receive the IP address associated with that request.

18. Information Sharing

Information may be processed or shared where reasonably necessary to:

TIWI Protocol does not sell private keys, Seed Phrases, or recovery credentials.

TIWI Protocol does not need those credentials to operate its core self-custodial functionality.

19. Advertising

TIWI Protocol may display limited sponsored or promotional placements.

Limited information such as impressions or clicks may be processed where necessary to measure placement performance.

20. Data Retention

Information centrally processed by TIWI Protocol should only be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for:

Information stored locally remains subject to your device settings.

Public blockchain information may remain available indefinitely because it is maintained by blockchain networks outside TIWI Protocol's control.

21. International Processing

Blockchain networks and internet infrastructure operate globally.

Information associated with TIWI Protocol may therefore be processed through infrastructure located in different countries.

Public blockchain transactions may be distributed among blockchain nodes around the world.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for international processing of personal information, reasonable protections will be used.

22. Data Security

TIWI Protocol uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information processed through the application.

These may include:

No internet-connected application or blockchain network can guarantee absolute security.

Users remain responsible for protecting their mobile devices and connected wallets.

23. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law and the information controlled by TIWI Protocol, you may have rights relating to:

These rights apply to information that TIWI Protocol can reasonably control.

They generally cannot require TIWI Protocol to delete information permanently recorded on a public blockchain.

24. Disconnecting Your Wallet

You may disconnect your wallet from TIWI Protocol at any time using supported application or wallet functionality.

Disconnecting your wallet ends the active connection.

It does not erase:

25. Data Deletion

Where TIWI Protocol maintains centrally stored information associated with an optional feature, applicable deletion requests may be submitted to TIWI Protocol.

Deletion cannot generally remove:

Locally stored application information may generally be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling the application.

26. Children's Privacy

TIWI Protocol is not intended for children.

Users must be at least 18 years old or meet any higher minimum age required for digital asset or decentralized finance functionality in their jurisdiction.

27. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in:

The latest version will display its effective and last updated dates.
